Cupping Therapy
Cleansing. Restorative. Deeply grounding.
Cupping therapy is an ancient healing practice that uses gentle suction to release tension, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural detox process. During treatment, cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum effect, drawing blood and lymph to the surface to promote healing and flush out stagnation.
Origins of Cupping
Cupping has deep roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and variations of it have been used for centuries across Egyptian, Middle Eastern, and Greek healing systems. It’s stood the test of time because of its ability to relieve discomfort, restore balance, and support the body holistically.

The Benefits
Cupping may help with:
* Muscle aches, tension, and tightness
* Poor circulation and sluggish lymphatic flow
* Stress and emotional release
* Reduced inflammation
* Detoxification
* General fatigue and low energy
Cupping often leaves temporary circular marks on the skin, which are a natural response to the suction and indicate areas of stagnation. These marks usually fade within a few days and are rarely painful, contrary to popular belief, these marks are not bruises!
Your Options
Cupping therapy can be tailored to suit your specific needs and preferences. You’re welcome to choose from the following treatment styles:
Full Body Cupping Treatment
A deeply therapeutic session that focuses on applying cups across the back & shoulders, legs are massage whilst the cups are in place to relieve tension and promote good qi/flow. This option is ideal for those wanting full-body detox, muscular release, and energetic reset.
Cupping & Gua Sha Blend
This session combines the power of cupping with the gentle scraping technique of gua sha, a traditional therapy that uses a smooth tool to release stagnation, improve circulation, and move lymph. The two methods complement each other beautifully—cupping draws stagnation to the surface, while gua sha smooths it away. This is a great choice for those looking for both deep relief and gentle nurturing.
Cupping & Hot Stone Therapy
This luxurious option blends the therapeutic power of cupping with the deep warmth of hot stones. The heat from the stones melts through tight muscles and enhances relaxation, while cupping works to draw out stagnation and restore balance. Ideal for those who carry deep-seated tension or need grounding and calm.
Aftercare
After your cupping session, it's important to support your body as it processes the release:
Stay hydrated to help flush out toxins and support lymphatic movement
Keep the cupped areas covered and warm for 24 hours—avoid wind, cold, or direct sun exposure
Avoid vigorous exercise, hot showers, saunas, or alcohol for the rest of the day
Rest and allow your body to integrate the effects of the treatment
If any soreness arises, it’s usually mild and can be eased with gentle stretching or a warm bath the next day
